Agribusiness Lending Specialist
to play a key role in developing our lending capabilities, managing strategic lender relationships, and supporting compliance and accreditation requirements across the business.
This newly created position offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Sprout Ag's ongoing growth while working closely with major banks, non-bank lenders, referral partners, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening our lender network, developing lending products and processes, maintaining accreditation standards, and ensuring compliance obligations are met.
You will act as a key liaison between Sprout Ag, lenders, industry partners, regulators, and stakeholders, helping to position the business for continued success in the agribusiness finance sector.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with major banks, non-bank lenders, and key industry stakeholders.
Manage and regularly review Sprout Ag's lender panel, accreditation requirements, and strategic lending partnerships.
Identify opportunities to expand lender offerings and pursue new lender relationships where product gaps exist.
Coordinate lender accreditation processes and support team members in achieving and maintaining required accreditations.
Assist with the development and enhancement of lending products, templates, systems, and technology solutions.
Monitor changes in lender policies, products, and market conditions, ensuring the wider team remains informed and up to date.
Coordinate lender meetings,



industry updates, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Develop and maintain referral and partnership arrangements with key industry participants.
Support ASIC compliance obligations, membership requirements and broader regulatory responsibilities.
Assist with engagement and correspondence involving regulators, industry associations, government bodies, including the ACCC where required.
Prepare reports, recommendations, and briefing papers for the CEO and Board.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Strong banking, lending, and credit knowledge.
Experience in, or a strong understanding of, agribusiness finance and agricultural lending.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with lenders and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with lender accreditations, compliance frameworks, financial services processes, or regulatory requirements.
A proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially astute approach.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute as part of a high-performing team.
A genuine passion for mentoring, coaching, and supporting colleagues.
