About the Role:
n
n
Supervision of team members including delegating tasks to individuals or teams in a clear and concise manner
n
Supervise and Coordinate sub-contractors to ensure workmanship aligns with project requirements
n
Managing onsite construction activities to ensure compliance to program specifications
n
Provide Quality Assurance and control sign off to relevant works, in alignment with project requirements
n
Monitor all day to day works. This includes identifying and managing potential challenges/issues
n
Manage Client and/or Stakeholder correspondence and interactions during construction
n
Subcontractor management experience highly regarded
n
n
Key Requirements:
n
n
Initial project drive in drive out work (roster) for a cattle feedlot expansion project. BK have been delivering a number of cattle feedlots, and with the growth are seeking a Site Supervisor/Leading Hand.
n




Ability to run earthworks/roads crews and Subcontractor as dedicated Site Supervisor/Leading Hand onsite.
n
Ability to run smaller earthworks/road projects from operating a machine.
n
Minimum5years industry relevant working experiencein a similar role
n
BK are supportive of progressing the career of a Leading Hand into a Site Supervisor Role.

Experience with working to ISO Accredited standards for Safety, Environment and Quality
n
Topcon/Trimble experience
n
Ability to read and understand detailed civil construction plans
n
Bulk earthworks experience
n
Ability to lead works crew, manage subcontractors and communicate with the client.
n
Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
n
Sound understanding of civil earthworks projects and earthmoving machinery
n
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office products
n
Ability to work away from home at times
n
