A well-established hardware product company in Sydney is looking for a senior electronics design leader to join as a technical authority for its engineering team.
n
This isn't a traditional management role — it's for someone with deep, hands‐on design credibility who can lead through expertise and earn the team's respect, not through hierarchy.

What you'll be doing:

- Owning technical direction on complex, high-speed electronics design work
n
- Mentoring senior engineers and acting as the final technical voice on design decisions
n
- Working as a peer to other engineering leads, reporting directly to the founder
n
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
- Solid hands‐on electronics design background,



ideally including high-speed signal design (signal integrity, impedance matching, high-speed switching circuits)
n
- A genuine track record of shipped, production hardware — from a product company, not a consultancy
n
- Enough seniority and credibility to mentor senior engineers and resolve technical disagreements
n
- Comfortable in a flat, informal, low-hierarchy team culture
n
