Trailer Assembly & Fit Out Technician (Autolec / Mechanic)

This is a hands-on, full time role based at our Banyo facility. You'll work across a variety of custom-built Light Vehicle trailers and skids, installing chassis and sub assemblies, air-con, solar, battery, and generator solutions. Opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities
n
Chassis and Enclosure sub assemblies
n
Mechanical fitting and assembly of components
n
Hydraulic hose assembly and installation
n
Installing ELV electrical systems
n
Installing and commissioning braking systems
n
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs
n
Supporting project delivery on and off-site
n
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
n
Optional - If you are an Autolec
n
Installing and commissioning 12/24/48V ELV systems
n
Working with schematics and harness assemblies
n
Manufacture and install of wiring harnesses
n
Fault finding and electrical troubleshooting
n
About you
n
Mechanical Tech or Mechanic or Auto Electrical trade qualification
n
Strong background in mechanical work
n
Confident with tools
n




Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
Good computer skills and a passion for technology
n
Brisbane-based and seeking long-term stability
n
Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screen
n
Safety-conscious, dependable, and detail-focused
n
Takes pride in workmanship and team contribution
n
Minimum 5 years of experience
