Some of what you will learn:
n
How to build brick and stone structures
n
Lay paving and concrete
n
Erect retaining walls and fencing
n
Plant and soil improvements for garden and turf areas
n
Plant and soil practices, including implementing plant establishment programs
n
Project costing and design as you progress further into the apprenticeship.
n
To be successful:
n
Have a passion for this trade and want to be part of a growing business once you've completed your apprenticeship
n
Physically fit and not afraid of physically demanding work
n
Well presented
n
Great work ethic
n
Dedicated and wanting to learn
n
Driving licence minimum P
n
White Card or willing to obtain one before commencement.
