Our client, a Federal Government agency responsible for delivering advice and high-quality, accessible social, health and child support services and payments, is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager.
n
Duties of the Technical Delivery Manager
n
n
Manage scope of projects from inception to closure;
n
Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets;
n
Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick‐off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks;
n
Provide technical direction and leadership;
n
Ensure technical teams adhere to industry best practices, standards and methodologies;
n
Lead and manage technical teams including developers, engineers and other technical professionals;
n
Identify and manage risks related to the technical delivery;
n
Provide technical expertise and support teams to solve complex technical challenges.
n
n
Skills and Experience Required
n
n
Experience managing financial records, project budgets and compliance requirements;
n
Solid change management experience across large and complex organisational initiatives;
n




Proven ability to lead strategic change management programs and initiatives;
n
Strong project governance experience, including monitoring, change control, risk and quality management;
n
Experience defining, managing and prioritising requirements using appropriate methodologies, tools and techniques.
n

Technical Skills
n
n
Project Scheduling tools;
n
Knowledge and understanding of OpenShift container platform infrastructure;
n
Knowledge and understanding of a broad range of Microsoft technologies.
n
n
Knowledge / Qualifications
n
n
3 to 5 years of Technical Delivery Management experience in a complex, high pressured ICT environment.
n
n
