MGN Civil is seeking to build a team of wicking general hands to assist with our land reclamation work at the Port of Brisbane for a 4 to 6-month period.

Roster
n
The roster is rotating shift work 12 hour days (inclusive of breaks) across 6 day shifts, 3 rest days off, 6 night shifts.

The roster alternates between day and night shift, with the successful candidate required to work both shift patterns.
n
Flat rate of $***** labouring plus a $***** wicking allowance per hour, plus superannuation for the wicking roster.

The Role
n




Work closely within a team of 3 people responsible for the insertion of wicking fabric into the ground via a purpose-built rig.
n
You will be required to complete physical groundwork in sandy conditions to assist with preparation (geofabrics & survey flags), and pipeline placement to enable completion of land reclamation works.
n
Additional ability to operation civil plant would be advantageous.
n
Valuable radio communication skills to ensure safe and productive work.
n
Adherence to safety requirements onsite.
n
Strong work ethic and team first attitude.
n
Willingness to learn new skills.

Additionally, the successful candidate will need a current Driver Licence, and hold a construction industry white card prior to starting employment.
