About the role
The role of Automotive Fitter will see you responsible for installing, connecting and testing a range of automotive accessories (both electrical and mechanical) on various commercial vehicles.
This includes, but not limited to:
Highlight Bars, Beacons and Emergency Lighting
Ancillary Lighting and Safety Equipment
Radio – UHF/VHF, IVMS and GPS Systems
Dual Battery Systems, Isolators and Inverters
Manufacture Wiring Looms for 12V Installation
Fitting Bull bars, Towbars, Suspensions and Toolboxes




Assemble and fit Trays, Canopies and Service Bodies
Installation of Roll over Protection Systems (ROPS)
Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components inclusive of identifying faults, replacing components and following SOP's
What you'll bring
Valid Australian Working Rights
3+ years experience as a Trade Assistant, Automotive Electrician or Automotive Mechanic (Trade qualification advantageous)
Reliable transport and current manual driver's license
Previous experience in a Modification or Automotive Manufacturing role and/or setting (advantageous)
Be reliable, punctual, well-presented and self motivated
A proven track record of reliability and initiative, with a 'can-do' attitude
Ability to work with a high level of productivity, efficiency and safety
