Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Operations Assistant to support day-to-day cleaning operations across our production and hospitality sites. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial cleaning who understands the compliance requirements of both industries and can confidently train and guide cleaning staff on the job.

Key responsibilities
n
Oversee and support daily cleaning operations across cleaning production and hospitality environments
n
Manage and coordinate project-based cleaning work from planning through to completion
n
Deliver on‐job training to cleaning staff, ensuring consistent quality and compliance standards
n
Ensure all cleaning practices align with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
n
Apply HACCP principles where cleaning intersects with food safety and hygiene standards
n
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
n




Respond to operational needs and troubleshoot issues as they arise
n
Maintain accurate records related to training, incidents, and compliance checks
n
Be proactive and self‐motivated to eliminate problems.

About you
n
Proven experience in cleaning operations within production and/or hospitality sectors
n
Solid working knowledge of WHS legislation and practical application on‐site
n
Understanding of HACCP principles and their application to cleaning practices
n
Experience managing project work, from scoping through to delivery
n
Confident delivering on‐job training and mentoring cleaning staff
n
Robust communication skills and a hands‐on, practical approach
n
Well organised, reliable, and comfortable working across varied environments
n
Flexibility with working, as operations are 24/7
