Remuneration: $133,603 to$143,125 per annum

The role isresponsible for conducting forensic assessments, reports, interventions,
n
and caseformulations.
n
Some of theprimary accountabilities of the Principal Practitioner include:
n
n
Perform the administration, scoring andinterpretation of validated assessment tools to inform structured
professionaljudgement
to deliver on CVEU key services and outcomes
n
Develop, implement, and deliver intervention for VEoffenders
n
Prepare intervention progress and completion reportsfor VE offenders
n
Provide quality, accurate and timely information torelevant stakeholders in relation to VE offenders' risk and harm, includinginitial, intermediate, and long-term risk mitigation strategies encompassingcase management, referrals, and other intervention
recommendations/actions
n
Engage in evidence based best practise
formulation,assessment,
reporting, and intervention for VE offenders
n
Manage an ongoing and long-term case load of VEoffenders
n
Deliver health promotion and harm




reductionstrategies
for VE offenders, where relevant
n
Make informed referrals to appropriate allied
healthprofessionals
and/or service providers
n
Support the development and delivery of state-widetraining, mentoring, and assistance in the management of VE offenders for QCSstaff
n
Provide re-entry planning, support, and communityreferrals for VE offenders, including undertaking community
supportintervention
sessions/meetings with family and community-based support networks
n
Initiate, develop, and maintain productive
workingrelationships
with key stakeholders who may present with differing priorities
n
Lead and actively contribute to CVEU knowledge baseof evidence based best practise for VE offender intervention, programs,research, practises, legislation, policy, and procedures
