The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and skilled Chef de Partie to join our agile kitchen team. Located in the heart of Sydney's South West at Panania, our club boasts multiple outdoor function spaces, including a busy contemporary bistro.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Section Management: Run and maintain a designated kitchen section (e.g. larder,
grill or pans) under the guidance of the Sous Chef.
n
Food Preparation: Ensure all prep work (mise en place) is completed to the highest standards before service.
n
Quality Control: Deliver consistently high-quality, beautifully presented dishes during high-volume service periods.
n
Team Collaboration: Support the Apprentices while seamlessly communicating with front-of-house staff.
n
Food Safety: Maintain strict compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations (HACCP), and kitchen cleanliness.
n

What You Bring
n
Qualifications: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
n
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment (clubs, hotels, or large restaurants are highly regarded).
n
Skills: Strong knife skills, a solid understanding of cooking techniques, the ability to work under pressure.
n
Attitude: A reliable team player with a positive mindset, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills.
n
Availability: Full flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, public holidays.
n
Rights: Full working rights within Australia. Immediate start can be offered.
n
Sponsorship is available for suitable candidate after 6 months probationary period, conditions apply.
