The Role
n
This is a unique opportunity to lead a small, dynamic team responsible for the maintenance, repair, supply, training and day to day support of a specialist Defence capability in Brisbane. Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll coordinate with a sister facility interstate, and travel across Australia and overseas as required.
n
You will lead a team of 5+ Facility Support Technicians, along with contractors and OEM representatives as needed, ensuring the capability is always ready to support training, exercises and operational deployments.

Key Responsibilities
n
Plan, coordinate and deliver all EPE support activities for the Defence capability in QLD
n
Manage the EPE Facility Support Team in QLD
n
Support and maintain the facility as specified by the Commonwealth
n
Act as EPE's liaison to Defence staff and associated base personnel in QLD
n
Support the EPE Help Desk and Operational Support function
n
Manage the preparation, deployment, relocation and recovery of capability sub-systems for training, major exercises and operational deployments
n
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
n
Project Management experience, or equivalent experience in a small/medium complex Defence environment (sub $50 million)
n
Ability to lead both agile and traditional project support methodologies simultaneously
n




Highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills
n
Valid, unrestricted driver's licence
n
Proven ability to manage complex projects with strict attention to detail
n
High level of proficiency with MS Office; basic proficiency with MS Project
n
Australian citizen, capable of obtaining and maintaining an NV1 security clearance
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Willingness to travel interstate and overseas as required
n
Current first aid certificate preferred (or capable of obtaining)
n
