About the opportunity
Join Bolton Clarke as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving strategic decision-making through financial insights, forecasting and business partnering. Influence outcomes across a complex national organisation while leveraging advanced analytics, Power BI and commercial expertise to identify opportunities, improve performance and deliver meaningful business impact.
Key activities
Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to provide financial, operational and strategic advice, supporting informed decision-making and business performance improvement.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, working closely with managers and executives to develop accurate financial plans.
Deliver management, executive and Board reporting, including performance analysis, trend reporting and statistical insights.
Leverage tools such as Microsoft Power BI and IBM Cognos Planning Analytics to analyse large data sets, enhance reporting and identify business opportunities.
Conduct scenario modelling, cost-benefit analysis and financial reviews to identify efficiency gains, cost savings and opportunities for improved business outcomes.
About you
A commercially astute finance skilled with strong business partnering experience, advanced financial analysis and reporting skills, and expertise in budgeting, forecasting and performance insights. You are a confident stakeholder manager who can influence senior leaders, translate complex data into actionable recommendations,



and drive business improvement.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, with
CA or CPA qualifications
(or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a
Finance Business Partnering or advisory role
, providing financial, operational and strategic support within a fast-paced environment.
Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience, including preparation of management, executive and Board-level reports.
Advanced data analytics and reporting capability, including extensive experience with
Power BI
, large datasets, data warehouses and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to provide decision support and partner effectively with senior leaders.
Knowledge of
IBM Cognos Planning Analytics
and experience in complex, multi-site or geographically dispersed service organisations would be highly regarded.
