First Steps is seeking an experienced Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator & an ECT to join our team in Gatton QLD **** on a permanent part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our early learning centre, ensuring their developmental and wellbeing needs are met.

What you'll be doing

Planning and implementing engaging learning programmes that foster children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
n
Providing a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment for children to learn and play
n
Observing and documenting children's progress, and communicating with families about their child's development
n
Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies to maintain compliance
n
Collaborating with the wider team to deliver a cohesive, high-quality early learning experience
n
Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Experience working as an Early Childhood Educator
n
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices




n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families
n
A genuine passion for helping young children learn and thrive
n
Commitment to promoting inclusive, play-based learning
n
Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children certifications
n
