Senior Service Technician - Advanced Electronic Equipment

About the role
n
Reporting to the Rental and Service Manager, you will be based at our Bowen Hills workshop. In this Senior Service Technician, your core duties will include:
n
n
Diagnosing and testing Trimble equipment and instruments (including GPS receivers, radios, survey total stations,and field computers) to fault find
n
Adjusting and repairing equipment and replacing worn and defective parts
n
Re-assembling, testing, operating and adjusting customer equipment
n
Calibrating equipment according to technical manuals and written instructions
n
Performing troubleshooting and maintenance necessary to keep instruments operating at their peak efficiency
n

About you
n
You'll be a strong fit if you have a proven background in servicing,



calibrating and repairing high-end electronic equipment, and you're also confident having junior team members shadow your work and enjoy sharing your knowledge to help others grow.
n
This is a busy role and to be successful you'll need to enjoy being kept on your toes. You will also need to be the type of person who gets a kick out of learning current technology and fixing things right the first time.
