Key Responsibilities
n
n
Triage and assess patients presenting to the Urgent Care Service.
n
Recognise patient deterioration and elevate care when required.
n
Deliver clinical care including wound management, suturing support and plaster application within your scope of practice.
n
Work collaboratively with medical practitioners to achieve positive patient outcomes.
n
Provide patient education and compassionate, person-centred care.
n
Complete accurate clinical documentation.
n
Maintain a safe working environment and follow all health and safety requirements.
n

About You
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Available to work evenings and weekends.
n
Minimum three years' experience in Emergency, ICU, CCU or Rural/Remote nursing.
n
Previous triage experience is highly regarded.
n
Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
n
Strong assessment, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
n
Able to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
n
