Join an established OT service without starting from zero
n
Rediscover Physio is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a flexible role within our multidisciplinary allied health clinic in Coolum Beach.
n
You'll step into an existing OT service with current clients, upcoming assessment work, established referral relationships and administrative support.
n
Start with 1–3 days per week depending on your availability, with the opportunity to increase your hours as we continue to grow the service.
n
For an OT interested in leadership and service development, there is also a longer-term opportunity to help shape and lead Rediscover's OT service. This is an opportunity, not a requirement of the role.
n
The role
n
The position can be structured as permanent part-time or casual, depending on what works best for the right clinician.
n
The role is hybrid, combining work from our Coolum Beach clinic, community and home-based appointments, and suitable report writing or administrative work from home.
n
Your caseload will be shaped around your experience and interests and may include:
n
n
Adult NDIS assessment and ongoing intervention
n
Functional Capacity Assessments
n
Home-safety and functional assessments
n
Aged care and community OT
n
Cognitive and neurological rehabilitation
n
Assistive technology and home modifications where appropriate
n
n
You are not expected to have experience across every area.
n




You'll manage your own clinical caseload independently while working alongside our physiotherapy, exercise physiology and administration teams.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Deliver evidence-based, person-centred occupational therapy
n
Complete functional, home and capacity assessments
n
Prepare clear, high-quality clinical reports
n
Manage ongoing NDIS, aged-care and private clients
n
Communicate effectively with clients, families, referrers and support teams
n
Maintain timely clinical notes and documentation
n
Work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team
n
Contribute to referral relationships and service development where this aligns with your interests
n
Have the opportunity to contribute to new clinical projects, including cognitive rehabilitation
n
n
There is no requirement to manage other staff.
n
As demand and the OT team grow, there will be an opportunity for an interested clinician to progress into an OT Service Lead position with expanded leadership and service-development responsibilities.

About you
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
n
At least two years of occupational therapy experience
n
Confidence working independently
n
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
n
Experience in one or more of NDIS, adult rehabilitation, aged care,



community OT or functional assessment
n
Excellent communication and time-management skills
n
A current driver's licence and access to a suitable vehicle
n
Relevant screening checks, or willingness to obtain them
n
n
Experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments would be highly regarded.
n
Experience in cognitive rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, assistive technology or home modifications would also be valuable, but you do not need experience across all of these areas.
