Dass Labour Hire is recruiting experienced asphalt crew members for road and pavement works in Canberra. Immediate starts available.

The work:
n
Asphalt laying and pavement works: road reinstatement, shared paths, intersections and associated civil surfacing
n
Raking, shovelling, screeding, joint work, tack coating and general paving crew duties
n
Working alongside paver and roller operators on day and night shifts
n
What you need
n
n
CPCWHS**** White Card (mandatory)
n
Demonstrated experience on an asphalt or paving crew
n
Understanding of mat temperatures, compaction, levels and joint quality
n
Physically fit and comfortable working in heat and around hot materials
n
Willing to work night shifts and weekend shifts as required
n
Reliable, on time, and committed to doing the job properly
n
n




Highly regarded
n
n
Roller, paver or skid steer operator tickets or experience
n
Traffic control ticket (Implement Traffic Management Plans / Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat)
n
Previous civil or rail infrastructure experience
n
Own transport and license
n
