You will deliver engaging Arabic language and Islamic Studies lessons that inspire students, nurture their understanding of the faith, and support their academic and personal growth. You'll work within a supportive, values-driven team committed to excellence in education.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons in line with curriculum requirements
n
Foster a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom environment
n
Assess, monitor and report on student progress
n
Contribute to school events, programs and the wider community
n
Collaborate with colleagues and engage constructively with parents and families
n
About you
n
Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) — this is mandatory
n
Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written)
n




Strong knowledge of Islamic Studies
n
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
n
Commitment to the values and ethos of our school
n
Previous experience teaching Arabic and/or Islamic Studies (desirable)
n
Familiarity with the Victorian Curriculum (desirable)
n
