About the role
n
We are seeking a Finance/Accounting Officer to join Fronius Australia's dynamic team at our Tullamarine, Victoria location.
n
This is a full-time position that supports the day-to-day financial operations of the business. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the smooth running of the accounting functions, including end of month and responsibility for payroll processing.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Manage the day-to-day finance operations of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking activities, debtor management, supplier payments, and maintenance of accurate financial records and ledgers.
n
Support month-end and year-end accounting processes through the preparation of reconciliations, general ledger entries, financial reports, fixed asset register maintenance, and assistance with budgeting, statutory reporting, and annual audit requirements.
n
Assist with payroll administration and provide support for BAS, ATO, and FBT reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory obligations.
n
Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, customers, business units, senior leadership, and external stakeholders by responding to enquiries, resolving account issues, and ensuring timely follow-up of outstanding matters.

Contribute to the effective operation of the Finance Department by administering financial control procedures, maintaining documentation, and providing general finance and administrative support as required.

What we're looking for
n
A qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline is desirable, together with a minimum of three years' experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
n
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate anomalies, and maintain a high level of accuracy across financial transactions and reporting.
n
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Word, along with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities, work independently, and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.
n
A proactive, adaptable, and flexible approach to work, with strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
