Job Description
The Bakery Flow Wrapping Machine Operator sets up, runs, and maintains horizontal flow-wrap packaging lines to package fresh baked goods efficiently. This role ensures perfect seal integrity, accurate shelf-life dating, and minimal product damage while strictly adhering to Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sanitation & Food Safety: Maintain an allergen-conscious, sanitized workstation. Follow clean-as-you-go practices and strict HACCP, GMP, and SQF/BRC regulations.

Quality Assurance: Verify package seal integrity, gas flush levels (if applicable), and clear execution of batch codes and best-before dates.
n
Product Handling: Monitor automated infeeds to ensure delicate baked goods enter the wrapper without crushing, breaking, or causing jams.
n
Line Troubleshooting: Clear film jams instantly, realign fin wheels,



and perform quick recipe changeovers between different product runs to minimize downtime.

Waste Tracking: Accurately document product scrap, film waste, hourly output logs, and machine downtime.

Qualifications and Requirements
n
Experience: 1+ years operating flow wrappers or high-speed packaging machinery, ideally within a bakery or commercial food manufacturing environment.
n
Certifications: Food Handling Certificate or basic knowledge of food hygiene standards is highly desirable.
n
Skills: Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to handle delicate food products at high speeds.
n
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to *****kg (film rolls), stand for extended periods, and work comfortably in environments with varying temperatures (near ovens or cooling tunnels).
