Responsibilities
n
As the Finance Lead, you will provide strategic financial leadership across the organisation, working closely with senior stakeholders and the existing finance team.
n
This role is suited to someone who can come into an established environment, assess the current structure and set clear financial strategies and frameworks for the future.
n
You will be responsible for:
n

Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with business objectives
n
Providing commercial financial advice and insight to senior leadership
n
Reviewing and strengthening existing financial processes, systems and controls
n
Improving financial reporting, forecasting and business intelligence
n
Increasing visibility across profitability, cash flow and overall business performance
n
Identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and commercial outcomes
n
Supporting business growth and organisational transformation
n
Providing strategic leadership, direction and capability uplift to the existing finance function
n




Establishing clear financial frameworks, processes and reporting structures
n
Identifying financial risks and opportunities and providing recommendations to senior stakeholders
n
Supporting the business through its next phase of growth and development

Your Profile
n
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior finance professional who is comfortable operating strategically while also having the ability to understand the detail and drive change.
n
n
Significant experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Head of Finance or similar senior finance leadership position
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
n
Strong commercial and strategic financial management experience
n
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing financial strategies
n
Strong understanding of financial reporting, governance, controls and performance management
n
Experience working within a complex, multi-site, service-based or labour-intensive organisation highly regarded
n
Robust leadership and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to assess an existing finance function and implement improved structures, processes and reporting
n
Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide commercial challenge
n
Available to commence a 12-month contract
n
