We are currently looking for an experienced Retail Manager to join our team.
n
As Retail Manager, the applicant works closely with the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store and coordinating departmental team leaders across Fresh Produce, Grocery, Deli and Office operations.
n
Your key duties include:
n
n
Managing the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including determining appropriate stock levels, product ranges and customer service standards.
n
Managing inventory, monitoring stock movement and implementing FIFO procedures to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimise wastage.
n
Liaising with suppliers and overseeing purchasing and ordering of products in accordance with customer demand, stock requirements and store operations.
n




Contributing to the development and implementation of purchasing, pricing and promotional strategies and implementing approved initiatives within the store.
n
Planning and implementing promotional activities, product displays and merchandising initiatives to support sales growth and enhance the customer experience.
n
Overseeing customer service and sales activities, responding to customer enquiries, complaints and returns, and ensuring appropriate product advice and service are provided.
n
Maintaining and monitoring stock records, sales information, financial records and operational reports using the store's POS, NATPOS and other reporting systems.
n
Monitoring the store's financial performance, including P&L;, and preparing and monitoring operational budgets and resource requirements.
n
Recruiting and selecting staff, preparing staff rosters, allocating duties and supervising employee performance.
n
Training, coaching and developing employees and providing ongoing feedback and guidance to maintain appropriate performance and service standards.
n
Ensuring compliance with company policies, occupational health and safety requirements, food safety and hygiene standards.
n
Supervising departmental team leaders and coordinating Fresh Produce, Grocery, Deli and Office operations to ensure efficient overall store performance.

Skills/Experience Required:
n
n
Relevant Diploma-level qualification or higher.
n
Minimum 1 year of relevant retail management experience.
n
Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, inventory management, purchasing and customer service.
n
Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
n
n
A salary of $81,****** per annum + Superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
