About the Role
We are seeking a confident, results-driven Showroom Sales Consultant to join our team in a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm.
This is first and foremost a sales and customer service role. You'll be the face of our showroom, engaging with customers, understanding their needs and helping them select the right products for their projects.
You'll manage the full sales cycle — from initial enquiry and product selection through to quoting, follow-up and closing the sale.
We are a small, hands-on team, so from time to time you'll also assist with preparing customer orders, receiving stock and occasional local deliveries. This is only a small part of the role, but you'll need to be physically fit and happy to lend a hand when required.
Strong sales ability and communication skills are our priorities, and full product training will be provided.
What You'll Be Doing
Showroom Sales & Customer Service
Welcome and assist retail and trade customers




Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
Guide customers through product selections to suit their project, style and budget
Prepare accurate quotes and actively follow up enquiries and sales opportunities
Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to order and completion
Process orders and payments accurately
Respond to telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
Liaise with suppliers regarding products, availability and orders
Build relationships with homeowners, builders, designers and trade customers
Maintain a qualified and well-presented showroom
Work with the team to achieve sales targets and provide an excellent customer experience
Occasional Warehouse & Delivery Support
Assist with receiving and checking incoming stock when required
Help prepare customer orders for collection or delivery
Assist with safely loading and unloading products
Complete occasional local customer deliveries
Help keep warehouse and dispatch areas organised
The warehouse and delivery component is a small part of the role and not the main focus.
About You
We're looking for someone who is naturally good with people, enjoys selling and is confident taking a customer from initial enquiry through to a completed sale.
You will ideally have:




Proven experience in showroom, retail or consultative sales
Confidence managing the full sales cycle from enquiry through to close
Strong communication and customer service skills
Confidence preparing quotes and actively following up sales opportunities
Comfort assisting customers with higher-value purchases where advice and reassurance are important
A genuine interest in bathrooms, home renovation, interiors or the building industry
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
Strong attention to detail
A proactive, reliable and team-focused attitude
The physical ability to safely assist with manual handling when required
A current Australian driver's licence
Previous experience in bathroomware, tiles, plumbing, kitchens, interiors, building products or a similar industry would be highly regarded, although product training can be provided to the right salesperson.
