The Role
n
Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring plant and equipment continues to operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
n
Your duties will include:
n
n
Completing scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance
n
Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing mechanical faults
n
Maintaining conveyors, bearings, rollers, gearboxes, drive systems and other rotating equipment
n
Bearing installation, replacement and maintenance
n




Conducting routine plant inspections and identifying worn or damaged components
n
Mechanical fault finding and completing repairs to minimise downtime
n
Completing adjustments, modifications and improvements to plant and equipment
n
Working alongside other trades to repair, fabricate and modify components
n
Recording faults and completed maintenance activities
n
Contributing to continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives
n
Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
n
n
About You
n
n
Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitting, Plant Mechanic or equivalent trade qualification
n
Previous maintenance experience within a heavy industrial, manufacturing, processing, production or materials-handling workplace
n
Experience maintaining conveyors, bearings and rotating equipment
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding and breakdown experience
n
Confident completing preventative maintenance and plant inspections
n
Working at Heights certification
n
Current EWP licence
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Own tools
n
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
n
Proactive approach and ability to work effectively within a maintenance team
n
