Black Toyota Oakey is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. This is a full-time opportunity offering an hourly rate plus commission, a Monday to Friday roster, and structured trade training with one of Australia's most recognised automotive brands.

Working alongside experienced Toyota technicians and a long-tenured leadership team, you will gain hands-on experience while completing your automotive trade qualification. You'll learn all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and workshop operations in a supportive workplace focused on your development.

What You Will Be Doing

Assist with servicing, inspections and basic repairs under supervision.
n
Learn diagnostic procedures, workshop systems and Toyota manufacturer standards.
n
Complete required trade training and coursework.
n
Maintain tools, work areas and safety standards.
n
Support the workshop team with daily operations.
n
Develop practical skills across vehicle maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
n
Build your technical knowledge through on-the-job learning and formal training.
