Position Overview
n
Develop and execute strategies to maximize performance of real estate investments and achieve investment strategy goals.
n
n
Financial analysis and modeling of real estate assets
n
Underwriting (incl. cash flows, sensitivity analyses, IRR analyses)
n
Valuations
n
Strategic Planning (Hold/Sell)
n
Take lead role in creation and review of financial models.
n
Assume responsibility for the accuracy,



quality and consistency of analysis
n
Train other team members in financial analysis and modeling
n
Assist in asset management of acquired properties assuming increasing levels of responsibility to handle assets independently as experience increases
n
Evaluate performance of investments
n
Review monthly and annual budgets and reporting
n
Negotiate with tenants & 3rd parties as appropriate
n
Track compliance with internal and external (e.g. lender) requirements
n
Monitor property and property manager performance
n
Assist in the review and analysis of legal documents and other materials as part of on-going property oversight.
n
Develop and implement disposition strategies to maximize exit value, including vendor selection and oversight
n
Coordinate/support production of Investor Reports.
n
Providing administrative support to team as needed
n
Preparation of closing documentation and filing
n
Other assignments as requested
n

Requirements
n
Bachelor's degree in finance or related field with 3-5 years of experience
n
At least a few years of work experience of Asset Management, Property Management, underwriting for Acquisitions or finance.
n
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
n
Independent, well-organized and positive at team playing.
n
Firm understanding of financial concepts, analysis and modeling.
n




Experience in real estate experience an added advantage.
