CDC is on the hunt for enthusiastic locals who are keen to support with school runs Monday to Friday, during school terms.

Additionally, we are looking to offer flexible ad-hoc hours for those interested in casual charter driving including weekends and afterhours options.

School Bus Driver
n
This position is responsible for safely transporting primary and secondary school students to and from school, Monday to Friday school days only along pre-determined designated routes of travel.
n
Qualifications:
n
Current Queensland Medium Rigid Driver's Licence or higher
n
Valid work visa or Australian work rights required
n
Experience:
n
Heavy vehicle experience
n
Bus driving experience (desirable)
n
Skills:
n
Verbal and written communication skills
n
Ability to learn new skills, apply training and follow direction
n
The ability to think clearly in a crisis and to keep calm
n
Patience, whether its traffic or loud passengers you'll have the presence of mind to know its just what it is.

For successful applicants we are offering the following:

School Bus Drivers - Averaging about 20 hours per week made up of Monday to Friday school run shifts covering morning drop offs and afternoon pickups.
