What you'll actually do
Lifeguard private and semi-private swim sessions at homes and apartment complex pools - no crowded rec-centre energy.




Keep water safety front of mind for kids and adults alike.
Be the lifeguard families trust and remember (no pressure, but also... it's not that hard when you actually love it).
You'll need
Previous experience as a lifeguard.
An actual passion for the water and keeping people protected.
Reliable transport - you'll need to get yourself there.
Certifications required (the non-negotiables — must be current)
Pool Lifeguard Certificate (e.g. issued by Royal Life Saving Society or equivalent).
HLTAID011 - First Aid.
HLTAID009 - CPR.
Working With Children Check (WWCC) for your state or territory.
