About the role
As the Team Leader Logistics at Starkey Australia, you will be responsible for leading a team of logistics Team members to ensure the productive and effective delivery of products to our customers. This full-time role is based in our Alexandria, NSW facility and will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics department.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the logistics team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time
Develop and implement logistics rosters, plans and procedures to optimise workflow and meet delivery targets
Monitor inventory levels and work with the warehouse team to maintain appropriate stock levels
Liaise with other department and suppliers to address any delivery-related issues or queries
Provide training and development opportunities for the logistics team to enhance their skills and knowledge




Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency
Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
3 to 5 years' experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably within the health industry
Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational goals
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams
very strong attention to detail abilities
Proficient in using logistics management software and technology
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices
Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is desirable
