About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist within our ICU, you will provide expert clinical care and leadership, support patient outcomes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will act as a clinical resource for nursing staff, mentor team members, and contribute to evidence-based practice within the unit.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering advanced, patient-centred care to critically ill patients
Providing clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing colleagues
Promoting evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
Assisting with staff education, coaching, and professional development
Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
Supporting a positive, secure, and high-performing team culture
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 4 years' post-graduate nursing experience,



including significant ICU experience
Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing (or working towards)
Demonstrated clinical expertise in intensive care nursing
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service excellence
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
