HR / HC / MC Truck Drivers Required : Full Time

Due to company expansion, we are seeking experienced drivers that can demonstrate not only qualified driving ability but also well-presented with excellent customer service skills.
n
To be considered for this role you must:
n
n
Hold a HR, HC or MC licence - minimum 1 years' experience
n
BFM Accredited - Preferred or willing to obtain
n
Present a current traffic printout (or equivalent)
n
Refrigerated experience preferred
n
Able to operate a heavy vehicle in a professional manner
n
Must be punctual, reliable and perform the task courteously
n
Must be able to pass a medical including drug and alcohol testing
n
Able to complete some manual handling
n
n
Will be required to electronic equipment such as tablets for reporting and monitoring driving hours.
n We would look at up grading their HR to or HC to MC if you are the right person.
n
Truck Driver is responsible for the provision of effective customer service in the unloading and delivery of goods,



ensuring safe work practices at all times.
n
Truck Driver is also responsible for the general maintenance and the presentation of the truck and ancillary equipment.
n
Essential duties and responsibilities
n
n
Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
n
Load and unload of goods, ensuring cargo is secure at all times
n
Communicate and consider fellow employees and contractors to ensure a safe and productive work environment
n
Daily prestart checklist and basic maintenance of truck and ancillary equipment
n
Ensure all communication from Management is understood and followed
n
Follow defined OH&S; and Quality policies and practices
n
Adhere to all Truck Driving laws and regulations
n
Ensure all required documentation is complete and forwarded at appropriate times
n
Attend tool box meetings
n
Be proactive in bringing new ideas to management
n
Engage in any training as required
n
Ensure compliance with NHVAS Policy and Procedures
n
