About the role
We are seeking a reliable and professional HR Driver to join our team at our Belmont depot. As a HR Driver, you will play a vital role in our operations, transporting material safely and efficiently to meet our clients' requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards whilst delivering exceptional service on every journey.
What you'll be doing
Operating and driving heavy rigid vehicles safely and in compliance with all relevant traffic and safety regulations
Conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues or defects
Ensuring loads are secured appropriately and transported safely to designated locations
Maintaining accurate logbooks and documentation in accordance with legal requirements




Communicating effectively with supervisors, clients, and other team members to ensure timely delivery
Adhering to McPherson Plant Hire Australia's safety policies, procedures, and code of conduct at all times
What we're looking for
A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence or equivalent qualification relevant to your location
Demonstrated experience driving heavy rigid vehicles in a commercial or plant hire environment
A strong commitment to safety, with a clear understanding of road transport regulations and workplace health and safety requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
A skilled attitude, reliability, and punctuality
The ability to work independently whilst following company procedures and instructions
