WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE
As part of our Business Services team, you will gain hands‐on experience across a broad range of accounting and taxation work, including:
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for family groups, including trusts, companies, partnerships and individuals
Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
Working closely with Senior Accountants and Managers to assist in preparing advice for clients
Developing your knowledge of taxation, accounting and business advisory services
Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies when required
Building relationships with clients
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone who:
Is studying, or intends to study, an accounting or finance degree, or has recently graduated
Has a genuine interest in developing a career in accounting
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is organised and has good attention to detail
Is willing to learn and develop new skills
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
Previous accounting experience is not essential.We are looking for the right person with the attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
