Dave's Welding & Metal Fabrication Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our growing team on a full time basis.

We specialise in high-quality custom architectural metalwork for residential and commercial projects across Sydney, working with stainless steel, aluminium, brass and mild steel.

About the Role
n
The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication of a wide range of custom architectural metalwork, where accuracy, quality and attention to detail are essential.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Fabrication of custom architectural metalwork
n
High proficiency in TIG welding aluminium and stainless steel is essential
n
Experience with metal preparation and processing
n
Cutting, shaping, bending, drilling, joining, welding and grinding
n
Confident use of hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
n
Reading and interpreting fabrication and shop drawings
n
Accurately and safely completing assigned fabrication tasks
n
Fabricating components within ±2 mm tolerance
n
Performing quality checks on completed products
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
n




CNC machine operation experience is an advantage but not essential
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Minimum 4 years of relevant fabrication experience
n
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
n
Strong TIG welding skills, particularly with stainless steel and aluminium
n
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Strong problem-solving and fabrication skills
n
Self-motivated and able to work independently
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Australian permanent residency or citizenship
n
