Job Description
Shangri La Gardens is seeking a Receptionist to manage front desk operations at our 40-room motel in Wynnum West. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries while coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

Make computer reservations and check guests in and out
n
Answer phone calls, emails and reply to guest messages via booking partners
n
Coordinate with Housekeepers & Maintenance to track readiness of rooms for check-in
n
Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
n
Reply to company reviews
n
Process all payments for bookings
n
Identify any special requests from guests for bookings
n
Perform other reasonable duties as required
n

About you
n
n
Minimum of 12 months' experience in a receptionist or similar role, preferably within the Motel industry
n
Proven experience in a face-to-face customer service position
n
Positive attitude and excellent grooming standards
n
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
n




Professional phone manner and personal presentation
n
Able to work on your own and as part of a team
n
Knowledge of Room Master Anywhere is preferred but not essential
n
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate at least 12 months' experience in a receptionist or similar role, preferably within the Motel industry, and proven experience in a face-to-face customer service position.
