We are seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on Casual Warehouse Assistant / Driver to support our warehouse and event operations. The role combines general warehouse duties - including picking, packing, cleaning and organising stock with driving responsibilities to deliver and collect graduation regalia and event equipment.

Key Responsibilities
n

Receive, sort and put away stock and equipment returned from events
n
Pick and pack graduation regalia and event equipment according to the event calendar
n
Liaise with Event Managers across each state to ensure job requirements are prepared accurately and on time
n
Load and unload graduation regalia,



equipment and other event stock
n
Deliver and collect items from universities, venues and event locations across Australia, as required
n
Assist with regular stocktakes and inventory management
n
Wash, steam and iron graduation gowns and hoods—this is a significant part of the role, as we take great pride in ensuring our regalia is clean and professionally presented for every event
n
Ensure event bump-in schedules are met and all stock is delivered on time and in excellent condition
n
Maintain a clean, safe and well‐organised warehouse
n
Assist with setting up and packing down event equipment when required
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and transport regulations
n
n
Requirements
n
n
A current Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence is essential
n
Must be fully competent and confident driving vehicles
n
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or event operations role is desirable
n
Ability to safely lift and move heavy or bulky items
n
Competent using a walkie forklift
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Excellent time-management skills and a reliable work ethic
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Flexibility to work on an as‐needed basis, including some evenings and weekends during peak graduation periods
n
Willingness to travel and drive to event locations when required
n
