We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teachers and Diploma qualified and/or studying educators to join our educational teams at our Rockhampton and Yeppoon services.

You must have a big smile that will make every child's face light up each and every day.

Throughout the course of a morning, you will have many varied roles, if a child requests you to be a superhero you will be the best cape wearing crusader you can be!

A qualification in musical theatre is not necessary however the ability to perform spontaneously in front of a crowd of tiny humans is essential!

You must have loads of compassion along with kindness and be ready to fix whatever troubles with hugs and band aids.

It is essential to have eyes in the back of your head and no fear entering public environments dressed in costume after celebrating Centre events.

About the ECT Role
n
We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teachers for our Rockhampton and Taranganba services.
n
As a respected and highly valued member of our educational team, you will:
n




Be an integral part the team within the service and the broader GSE network
n
Deliver a high-quality program reflective of contemporary practice and child initiated learning
n
Strong focus on engaging with the community in a variety of fun experiences and excursions.
n
Foundation knowledge of the NQS & EYLF, the planning cycle for each child and to complete curriculum as required, to also
n
facilitate growth and development across all aspects of children's physical, social and cognitive development
n
Keep children's health, safety and wellbeing at the forefront of all you do
n
Host parent meetings or interviews as required - these include but are not limited to ad hoc and planned information sessions
n
Attend and contribute to professional development both internal, such as staff
meetings/networking
and external opportunities
n
Identifying and where appropriate facilitate family support information and programs
n
Be able to mentor, support and supervise colleagues and students
n
You will have/be:
n
A teacher who is (studying) or has completed your bachelor's in early childhood education or equivalent (ECT ROLE)
n
An educator who has Cert 3 or is studying Diploma/ has Diploma (EDUCATOR ROLE)
n
Experience leading and guiding a Team.
n
Full First Aid and CPR certificates, inclusive of Asthma and Anaphylaxis
n
Current Working with Children Check
n
Teacher's Registration where applicable (ECT ROLE)
n
National Police Check - Current
n
Current Child Protection training
n
Experience leading and guiding a Team.
n
Full First Aid and CPR certificates, inclusive of Asthma and Anaphylaxis
