The Work Mates program focuses on empowering participants to build confidence and develop practical employability skills. It provides long-term and personalised employment coaching to youth and adults with an NDIS plan, and delivers tailored, hands-on support.

What You'll Do:
n

Support individuals to identify goals and overcome barriers
n
Coach participants in resumes, job searching, and interview skills
n
Deliver engaging, person-centred job readiness training
n
Develop confidence, social skills, and workplace readiness
n
Connect with employers and advocate for participant opportunities
n
Track progress and maintain accurate, confidential records
n
n
About You:
n
n
Genuinely passionate about supporting people with disability
n
Great interpersonal skills and natural ability to build rapport
n
Strong communication skills,



with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adjust your style to suit different learners
n
Naturally empathetic, patient, and able to connect with people from all walks of life
n
Proactive and solutions-focused, always looking for ways to remove barriers and create opportunities
n

What You'll Bring:

Genuine passion for supporting people with disability
n
Great interpersonal skills and natural ability to build rapport
n
Solid communication skills, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different learners
n
Mandatory:
n
Certificate III (or higher) in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
n
Current Working with Children card (blue card) and NDIS Worker Screening (yellow card)
n
NDIS Worker orientation module
n
n
