About the Role
The role involves leading the architecture, implementation, and optimisation of VXLAN EVPN-based data centre environments, developing technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. You will provide expert guidance on data centre networking standards and best practices, troubleshoot complex network issues, and drive performance improvements.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of VXLAN EVPN solutions within the client's network infrastructure.
Develop architectural strategies and technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
Provide expert guidance on best practices, standards, and protocols related to data centre networking.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimise system performance.
Support the delivery of projects from planning through to deployment,



ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in designing and implementing VXLAN EVPN and related network solutions.
Strong knowledge of data centre architectures, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and security.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Relevant certifications in networking or data centre technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Robust communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
Cisco CCIE certification in Enterprise Network is highly desirable.
