The Tollgate Hotel is our newest multifaceted venue in North Parramatta. It includes a Sports bar, a thriving bistro operation, a Beer Garden, Event facilities as well as Gaming and TAB operations. Whether you are seeking a chilled summer cocktail in the Beer Garden whilst listening to local acoustic acts, or grabbing an after-work schooner in the Sports Bar or bite to eat in the bistro, this is the venue to be a part of.

We are searching for a casual duty manager with knowledge in venue operations, gaming, food, beverage, and people management. The role is suited to someone who has a passion for hospitality and can demonstrate how to lead the team and be an integral part of taking it to the next level.

This is a casual position that includes days, nights, public holidays, and weekend work. A healthy work/life balance isencouraged.

The Role
n

Leading a medium sized team and ensuring they are consistently delivering a quality customer experience
n




Setting the example for your team and driving a strong positive culture
n
Maintaining cost controls as well as working with the team on sales-driving initiatives
n
Overseeing all bar, gaming, event and food service whilst on shift.

Successful candidates will possess:

A strong focus on maintaining and driving service standards whilst increasinggrowth and return visitationto the venue
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and have a hands-on management style
n
A customer focus, always aiming to provide exceptional customer service
n
A solid background in all facets of hotel operations, including gaming, F&B;, functions & cellar areas
n
The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
n
Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
n
