We're looking for a
reliable and safety-focused Bar Processing Operator
to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll work with reinforcing steel, operating machinery to cut, bend and prepare materials used in construction projects.
You'll be part of a supportive team, with training provided and opportunities to develop your skills while contributing to a safe, efficient and quality-focused workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Safely bending, cutting and preparing steel bar to meet daily production requirements and customer orders.
Operate machinery including
bandsaws and bending machines
Conduct first-off inspections to ensure product quality and compliance
Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work workplace
Identify and report hazards, risks, or safety concerns
Work collaboratively with the team and communicate with the Leading Hand regarding production and material needs
Record any machine or production issues that may impact output
About You




Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment
Experience operating machinery (bandsaw, bending equipment preferred)
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
