Rapid Electrical Service is seeking multiple experienced electricians to join our growing team supporting major mining clients throughout the Bowen Basin.

We have a range of permanent roles available across CHPP maintenance, shift relief, projects and general site maintenance, with multiple roster options depending on the site and position.

Roster Options

Current opportunities include:

4 days on / 3 days off
n
7 days on / 7 days off DIDO
n
9-day fortnight (No Weekends)
n
Additional shifts and overtime available for those wanting to increase their earnings

The Role
n
As part of Rapid's mining and industrial electrical team, you'll work across a range of Bowen Basin sites and projects.
n
Depending on your position, roster and site, your work may include:
n
n
CHPP maintenance
n
Shift relief coverage
n
Breakdown and preventative maintenance
n
Electrical installation and maintenance
n
Fault finding
n
Electrical work orders
n
Mining infrastructure projects
n
Lighting and power installations
n
Switchboard installations and upgrades
n
Testing and commissioning
n
Project and shutdown work
n
Site safety, environmental and quality requirements
n
n
You'll work alongside experienced electricians and supervisors while having the autonomy to get on with the job, make decisions and take pride in delivering quality work.
n
The variety of sites and work means you'll continue to develop your electrical knowledge and experience while working with some of the region's leading mining operations.
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be considered, you will require:
n
n
Current Queensland Electrical Licence
n
Current Queensland Driver Licence
n
Current LVR/CPR
n
Ability to work DIDO rosters throughout the Bowen Basin
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n




Reliable work history and professional attitude
n
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and site teams
n
