The Role
n
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, supervisors, subcontractors and the wider project team, you will play a key role in maintaining and continually improving health, safety and environmental standards across active construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing practical HSE advice and support to project and site teams
n
Conducting regular site inspections, audits and safety observations
n
Supporting the implementation of project-specific HSE management plans
n
Identifying hazards and implementing effective risk controls
n
Assisting with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
n
Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings
n
Monitoring subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements
n
Supporting site teams with risk assessments and SWMS
n
Maintaining accurate HSE documentation and records
n
Promoting a proactive safety culture across projects
n
Working collaboratively with site teams to achieve strong safety outcomes
n

About You
n




We are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor / Safety Advisor / WHS Advisor with:
n
n
2–3+ years' experience in a construction HSE role
n
Relevant HSE, WHS, Occupational Health & Safety or related qualifications
n
Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and construction requirements
n
Experience working on active construction sites
n
Confidence engaging with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and trades
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
A practical, hands‐on approach to safety
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
n
Experience
n
Working for a Tier 1, Tier 2 or established commercial construction business will be highly regarded.
