Medical Receptionist / Clinic Administrator
to join our team at our new hearing and tinnitus clinic in Mooloolaba.

Previous experience within an
audiology, hearing, medical or allied health clinic
is highly regarded, with
Hearing Services Program (HSP) knowledge and experience considered a significant advantage.

About the Role
As our Medical Receptionist / Clinic Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for many of our patients and an important part of their overall care journey.
You will work closely with our audiologists, health coordinators and administration team to ensure the clinic operates efficiently while providing a genuinely warm and supportive experience for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming patients and managing the front reception area
Answering incoming telephone calls and patient enquiries
Managing appointment bookings,
confirmations and schedule changes
Supporting patients accessing our national care service
Supporting audiologists with day‐to‐day clinic administration
Processing payments, invoices and patient documentation
Managing emails and general clinic correspondence
Maintaining accurate patient records and administrative systems
Assisting with hearing aid and device‐related administration
Supporting
Hearing Services Program (HSP)
processes where required
Assisting with
DVA and veteran‐related administration
Liaising with patients, referrers, healthcare providers and other stakeholders
Helping ensure the clinic remains organised, professional and patient‐focused
Providing general administrative support to the wider Tinnitus Relief Australia team
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally welcoming, organised and confident communicating with people from all walks of life.
You will ideally have:
Previous reception or administration experience
Experience within audiology, hearing healthcare, medical or allied health environments
Excellent telephone and face‐to‐face communication skills
Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
Confidence working with appointment and patient management systems
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay organised when several things are happening at once
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy clinic environment
A
dynamic and adaptable approach
, with the ability to respond positively to change as the clinic and organisation continue to grow
Confidence working in a fast‐paced environment where priorities can shift
A professional, positive and team‐focused approach

Highly Regarded
Experience in any of the following will be particularly valuable:

Hearing Services Program (HSP)
knowledge and administration
Audiology or hearing clinic reception
Hearing aid administration and patient management
Medicare or healthcare billing
A
Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) administration
Experience supporting veterans or veteran healthcare pathways
Allied health or specialist medical reception
