We are seeking an experienced and motivated 2IC Office Manager to support the Office Manager in the day-to-day running of our busy Newtown clinic. This will be a full-time, fixed-term position to cover maternity leave working Monday-Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will support our reception and administration teams, help manage patient flow and ensure a high standard of patient care and service.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Support the Office Manager with daily clinic operations.
n
Provide leadership, guidance and support to reception and administration staff.
n
Assist with staff allocation, coverage, training and development.
n
Monitor patient flow and assist with managing delays and workflow issues.
n
Support the team with complex patient enquiries and complaints.
n
Assist with Medicare, DVA, private billing and administrative processes.
n
Ensure clinic procedures, privacy and professional standards are maintained.
n
Act as the key point of contact when the Office Manager is unavailable.
n
Step into the Office Manager's responsibilities when required.
n

About you
n
You will be an experienced medical administrator or team leader who is confident, organised and passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.

You will have strong communication skills,



a positive leadership style and the ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy clinical environment.
