About the Role
n
As the Property Support Officer, you will provide administrative and operational support across a broad range of property and tenure functions, including residential tenancy management, leases and licences, land tenure matters, facility use agreements, and property transactions.
n
You will work closely with internal teams, tenants, contractors, community groups, government agencies, and other stakeholders to support productive and compliant service delivery,

Stream A, Level 5 - $82,****** per annum
n
Flexible regional role – work from any Maranoa town.

Maranoa locality allowance $***** per fortnight

Work a 9-day fortnight with a Rostered Day Off.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Residential Tenancy & Housing
n
n
Support the administration of Council's residential housing portfolio, including tenancy applications, agreements, inspections, rent reviews,
maintenance requests, and tenancy exits.
n
Maintain accurate tenancy records and coordinate housing compliance activities.
n
Liaise with tenants, contractors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to support compliant and timely housing outcomes.
n

Agreements, Leases & Facility Use
n
n
Assist with the preparation and administration of leases, licences, permits, and facility use agreements.
n
Monitor agreement renewals, insurance requirements, and compliance obligations.
n
Support stakeholder enquiries and ensure fair and transparent use of Council property and facilities.
n
n
Land Tenure & Property Administration
n
n
Support land tenure matters, property transactions, easements, reserves, and related documentation.
n
Undertake research, record checks, mapping requests, and due diligence activities.
n
Maintain accurate property and tenure records.
n
n
Customer Service & Reporting
n
n
Provide professional customer service and respond to stakeholder enquiries.
n
Maintain accurate records across Council systems and prepare routine reports and correspondence.
n
Support audit, compliance, financial, and risk reporting activities.
n
n
