$55/hr base rate
n
Afternoon shift loading of 15% – $*****/hr
n
Night shift loading of 30% – $*****/hr
n
Overtime paid at applicable penalty rates
n
38-hour full-time week + regular overtime opportunities

The role
n
As a Shift Electrician, you'll play a critical role in keeping production moving.
n
You'll be responsible for responding to electrical breakdowns, completing planned and preventative maintenance and troubleshooting equipment to minimise downtime.
n
You'll work closely with Production and other Maintenance team members to keep our plant operating safely, reliably and efficiently.
n




Your day-to-day will include:
n
n
Responding quickly to electrical breakdowns and equipment faults
n
Completing preventative and scheduled maintenance
n
Fault-finding across three-phase systems, motors, drives and control systems
n
Diagnosing electrical and instrumentation issues
n
Supporting plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Completing maintenance records and documentation
n
Working closely with Production and other trades to minimise downtime
n
Maintaining high standards of WHS, food safety and hygiene
n
n
What we're looking for
n
You'll be a qualified A-Grade / unrestricted Electrician with strong industrial or manufacturing experience.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing or heavy industry
n
Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Experience with three-phase, motors, drives and control systems
n
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on shift
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
Ability to work afternoon and night shifts
n
n
The roster
n
This is an afternoon/night shift position.
n
The night shift roster operates on a 4-on / 4-off rotation during winter, transitioning to 5–6 day weeks during the summer peak period.
n
There are also regular opportunities to work overtime.
