Scheduling & Install Manager
n Kawana Flooring | Warana, Sunshine Coast

Own the install calendar for a busy, established flooring and window furnishings business.
n
Once a job is sold, it's in your hands. You'll make sure every install is planned, resourced and delivered. That way our customers get a great result and our installers can get on with the job.
n
This is a key role in our management team. You'll report to our Operations Manager and work alongside our Construction Manager and Showroom Manager.
n
Flooring or construction experience is a real plus. What matters most is how you organise, how you communicate and how you respond when plans change.

What you'll do
n

Build and manage the install calendar and forward schedule
n
Coordinate installers, subcontractors, suppliers, customers and our internal team
n
Confirm materials, installers and site readiness are locked in before a job starts
n
Keep customers informed about install dates, changes and what they need to do
n
Spot scheduling and install issues early, and reschedule quicky when something changes
n
Handle customer concerns and complaints calmly and professionally
n
Follow up open issues so no job falls through the cracks
n
Work with our sales and admin teams to keep the handover from sale to install smooth
n
Suggest improvements to how we schedule and deliver jobs
n

What you'll bring
n

Experience in scheduling, operations, project coordination, logistics, trades or a similar fast-paced service environment
n
Strong organisation and time management, with a sharp eye for detail
n
Clear, confident communication with tradespeople, customers and office staff
n
The ability to prioritise when several things need you at once
n
A calm, professional approach to tough conversations with frustrated customers
n
The confidence to make a call and own it
n

Things don't always go to plan in flooring. Installers run behind, stock gets delayed and sites aren't always ready. We need someone who takes that in their stride.

You'll be great in this role if:

You naturally bring order to chaos
n
A schedule change at 8am doesn't rattle you
n
You can have a tough conversation with a customer, stay qualified, then get straight on with fixing it
n
You take ownership. When something goes wrong, your first thought is "How do we fix this?"
