North West Private Hospital – Everton Park QLD
Join the team at North West Private Hospital as a Permanent Part-Time Administration Officer and provide professional, efficient administrative support within a busy hospital environment.
This role will be based in our Day Rehabilitation and Allied Health Outpatient Clinic.
We have permanent shifts on Thursdays and Fridays and are looking for a candidate with flexibility to pick up additional week day shifts as required.
This is an opportunity to play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the hospital while working alongside a welcoming and collaborative team. You will contribute to a positive experience for patients, visitors and colleagues through your strong organisational skills and customer-focused approach.
About You
We are looking for an organised, reliable and professional administration officer who enjoys working in a rapid-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the department
Respond to enquiries from patients, visitors, staff and other stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
Patient payments & Accounts Management – proficiency with EFTPOS & HICAPS
Appointment booking, scheduling and clinic availability oversight
Maintain accurate records, documentation and data
Assist with correspondence, filing, data entry and general administrative tasks
Coordinate and prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Follow hospital policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
Contribute to a positive and professional patient and customer experience




You Will Also Bring
Previous administration experience, ideally within a healthcare or customer-focused environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Nookal and general computer systems
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
A positive, flexible and proactive approach to your work
